We don't focus on promoting our salons to walk-ins because we usually book out two to three weeks in advance, so reservations are definitely recommended. We will try and accommodate a walk-in client if a spot is available.
Walk-ins: 3% to 5%

Epiphany Salon, The Wellness Center (Traverse City, MI)

We have a board inside the salon where we offer specials of the day, such as $10 off an additional service, so when a customer does walk in for a haircut, she might also add on a service.
Walk-ins: 10% or less

JOCINDA MARTIN

Planet Hair Studio (Hacienda Heights, CA)

Yes, we take walk-ins. We have a sign on the door, but we also make little cards and fliers and pass them out at local high schools.
Walk-ins: 5%
