July 1, 2007 By: American Salon Staff American SalonSexy, tousled bed-head hair never seems to go out of style. To get the unkempt look seen in this photo, Roxanne Pugh of O'Hair Salon + Spa in Washington, D.C., applied Wella Koleston Perfect haircolor using a permanent high-lift blond-on-blond technique and Wella Blondor gold highlights over a pale level-11 base. Owner Domenic Cicala cut the model's hair, roughly dried it with a little finger teasing through the top and finished with an application of Bumble and bumble's Styling Crème and Brilliantine products. —N.P.

The acronym now stands for Kinetic Molecular Systems, the company's philosophy of "molecules in motion." The word California was added in 2006 to show the company's passion for diversity and individuality. —N.P.
