"We're making a transition from highlights and focusing on more rich, classic haircolor," Cunningham says. STREETS OF PHILADELPHIA
Celebrity stylist Laurentius Purnama just opened an eponymous salon in the historical Italian Market district of Philadelphia. The salon's sleek, minimalist Japanese design was created by Purnama himself, and furnishings include the Fluid Generation line of shampoo bowls and chairs designed by Anton Kobrinetz for Gamma & Bross. On the first floor, three stylists will create works of art under vintage European sputnik lighting. —M.D.
