Wedding Belles

Paul Mitchell Master Associate Sheila Gomez and her team relied on Paul Mitchell products to unveil quick and gorgeous styling options for the bride who's short on time on her big day. In this look, hair was swept to one side, split into sections and curled with a medium-barrel iron before ringlets were pinned into place. Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Firm Finishing Spray kept the look in place. —K.D.

This delicate floral headband from Jennifer Ouellette is just right for spring. 212/927-7451

Back to Basics

Redken's Sam Villa is a stickler when it comes to using the right tools, which is why he created an eight-piece Signature Series of combs that come in black and ivory for maximum visual contrast between the comb and the hair. Each comb is infused with carbon fiber for heat resistance up to 410 degrees, as well as a silicone and graphite compound to ensure the smoothest possible glide. samvilla.com —R.A.

Love Your Lips

Protect your lips from the summer sun with Ceci Cela's almond or spearmint-infused lip balm. Free of parabens and synthetic preservatives, it's enriched with vitamin E, SPF 15, aloe, beeswax and antioxidants that defend against sun damage. cecicelaessentials.com —R.A.

WHAT'S ON YOUR IPOD?

We asked Matrix Artistic Designer Nick Stenson what's he's been listening to.

"Like You'll Never See Me Again" by Alicia Keys. "The message in this song is very powerful. I know that I take life for granted sometimes, but this song reminds me that you can't."

"4 Minutes to Save the World" by Madonna and Justin Timberlake. "I love to listen to this song when I'm doing cardio at the gym. It keeps me motivated and pushes me to bring only the best to my work every day."

"Smile" by Michael Bublé. This song is a reminder that no matter what is going on in your life, when a client is in your chair, it's all about them; it's their time to vent and the best thing to do is smile. —C.W.
