NCA's Premiere Talent Search

If you've got it, then don't miss your chance to win prizes and recognition from your peers at the NCA Premiere Talent Search competitions on Sunday, August 27, 2006, during the Premiere Orlando Show in Orlando, FL. Every currently enrolled cosmetology student or licensed working salon professional is eligible to enter the four different contest categories:
- Ladies' Fashion Trend: Cut, Color and Style
- Men's Fashion Trend: Cut, Color and Style
- Ladies' Long Hair: Fashion Updo
- Avant Garde / Fantasy: Hair As Art (new this year)
Professionals will compete on live models and students will work on mannequins. For the first time, industry icons, including some of the headliners from Premiere Orlando 2006, will serve as competition judges. Prizes range from third-place medallions to $750 and trophies for first-place winners. The complete rules and a registration form can be downloaded at www.ncacares.org. Contestants can also register by calling the Premiere Show Group at 800.335.7469. The registration deadline is August 25, 2006. You must be pre-registered, as no entrants will be accepted on-site.

The National Cosmetology Association and Premiere Orlando Show host the NCA Premiere Talent Search, and Leo Passage serves as NCA competition chairperson.
