Biolage gave hairdressers at Biolage Select salons across the country the opportunity to compete against one another for the title of 2008 Biolage Select Stylist of the Year. Maui Salon Gets a Makeover
Inspired by the need for environmentally responsible living on the island of Maui, Hawaii, Tropical Trenz Hair and Nail Salon, a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon located in Kihei, underwent an eco-friendly makeover. Renovations included installing a cork floor and bamboo stations, repainting existing retail units to reduce waste and changing the light fixtures to a more energy-efficient alternative. Owner Kim Jones says the remodel has definitely made an impact with the salon's customers. "Clients are impressed with our concern for the environment," she said.
