A Perfect Ten
September 1, 2006 By: Kelley Donahue American SalonWhen the Redken Exchange first opened its doors in New York City back in 1996 and began providing high-voltage, advanced classes to beauty pros in an intimate setting, it ushered in a whole new way of thinking. This year, about to mark another milestone10-year-anniversary—the 11,000-square-foot facility continues to transform the way the industry learns as it sets new standards in education. To date, more than 15,000 salon aficionados have attended booked-solid sessions like the ever-popular Everything's Included, an intensive three-day, technique-oriented course on cutting, coloring and perfecting looks that change seasonally, as well as Coloring Out of Your Mind!, another three-day course that pushes color and colorists into bold new territories. Now those are some statistics worth celebrating.—K.D.
