Salon Business
It's in the Cards
September 1, 2008 By: Alissa Piccione American SalonYves Durif, stylist and owner of the Yves Durif Salon in New York City, instructed Jennifer Elsner from the David Shields Studio to create a business card with a sense of humor. The prize-winning design has custom fonts and Durif's favorite shade of orange and shares the same motif as the salon's Web site. According to Durif, the bubble on the front of the card—inspired by his love of comics—"talks to people." —A.P.
