It's in the Cards

At LuxeLab in Santa Monica, CA, the business card design conveys the salon's emphasis on luxury, creativity and reparative haircare. The front of the card features the same rich sage color as the interior of the salon, complemented by the white and green logo in Eurostile Extended and Eurostile Extended Bold fonts. In contrast, the back of the card features a large, bright orange cross on a stark white background with the tag line, "Fix your hair!" which represents the remedies and rescue techniques the salon provides for its customers. "We like to surprise people," says Office Manager Rae Goeken. "The card is absolutely effective in bringing in customers." —N.R.
