In the city that never sleeps, it's only fitting that the salons and spas don't sleep, either. Paul Labrecque Salon and Spa, Red Market Salon and Frédéric Fekkai in SoHo are just a few New York City locations that now offer late-night services to answer a growing demand from both the party-going and stay-at-home crowds. But Hair Party 24 Hours takes it to a whole new level. Owner Jihee Kim opened the 24-hour, full-service salon and spa last year, after 20 successful years as a celebrity stylist and owner of a late-night salon in Seoul, South Korea. Hair Party boasts 40 staff members and more than 200 clients a day, many of whom come in at 6 a.m. for hair blow-outs before work, or at midnight for a relaxing, Korean herb-infused foot bath before bed. "Clients just want time to themselves and to be served without worrying about busy schedules during the day," Kim says. "We're bringing the idea of relaxation all day and all night to reality." —G.B.
