Now, DASHING DIVA, a nail spa with locations in the Northeast and California, is making chipped nails a thing of the past with the new Gelife service that offers high-shine UV gel manicures that last up to two weeks—all while maintaining the health of the nails underneath. A nail technician applies two or three coats of a soft, easily removable gel, curing each coat under a UV light after its application. Gelife is launching with french manicures and three natural shades—clear, warm pink and cool pink—and will be introducing a full line of colors in the fall. —L.M.
